Qian Meng zhen

Meng zhen is now fourteen years old and has become a burning light in the home. She had a very disruptive life before coming to our home and it hasn't been without challenges for her, the housemothers and us. The struggles have molded this sweet young girl into a truly dynamic person. She told us that her heart lets her know when she does something wrong so then she quickly changes.

After consulting with the immunization hospital they agreed we should have all the children who have not already had the mumps in our home immunized. By law all children should have had

this after they were born but in the countryside this isn't always followed and especially among children with unusual circumstances as many of ours have had. So one Saturday they all went to the hospital to have this done. The following day a doctor and nurse came to our home and gave all the children and staff a TB test and drew blood to check that everyone had active antibodies for Hepatitis B.
