One wonderful day our tutor
mother reported to us some news about Zhou Ping's recent quiz results.
He had made 95% on his math and his Chinese score was 49 %. He now
is able to read and his teacher praised him. His best Chinese score
in the past was 18% so this is wonderful progress. All our other
children who live with him said he has calmed down a lot and isn't
so restless as before. When he comes home from school, he really
focuses on doing his homework. We are all so thrilled with this
wonderful, exciting news!
Warm Sunny Days and
Lots of Fun!
Like boys everywhere, ours
too, love anything electric or motorized. They like to tinker and
take it apart until usually it works better or not at all. Zhao
kai, Zhu Hao ran, Duan Zi heng, Mu Yao dong and Zhou Ping spent
hours playing with A Nan's
electric jeep. Foreign guests brought the beautiful ball that Mu
Yao dong is using to display his skills as well as the Hula- hoops
that everyone perfected quickly, including Qiu yue.
One day Grandma Jane arrived with a really bad cold and bronchitis
and didn't want to get close to the children so she and Gu Si yuan
pretended they were giving one another a big hug.

Everyday Event
Each
morning our mothers go out to buy food for the day. When the children
are home on the weekends they like to go along and help. Qiu
yue is helping Mother Xiu fen pull the cart up to the second
floor. If the boys are around and see the need for help, they are
great about running to assist.
Every Sunday
our girls must leave for a week to go to their middle school. They
study hard but love to be home. They always stay as long as they
can. Above are Chen chen and Cai
yun.
The inseparable brothers - Du
Xing ze and Cong kai are always
together. Zhang Jun saw them coming down the stairs with their
arms around their shoulders and caught the photo as they were
walking around the yard.
